National Library of Scotland

Personal Assistant to the Directors

Aug 2007 - Oct 2010

The National Library of Scotland (NLS) is the world centre for the study of Scotland and the Scots. As PA to the Director of Corporate Services and the Director of Collections and Research, I developed a highly efficient approach to a wide-ranging role that sparked my passion for archives.

Day-to-day duties included complex diary management, NLS-wide event and meeting management, and liaison with Scottish Government, Trustees, external organisations and agencies in Scotland and globally, as well as NLS service managers and colleagues.
